T20 World Cup 2022: Will India Take Revenge On Pakistan

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the T20 World Cup 2022 schedule on Friday. On October 23, 2022, the Indians will kick off their campaign against Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

The tournament will start on October 16. India was placed in group 2. Along with India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the South African teams were placed in group 2.

Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian squad after being selected as a full-time limited-overs skipper in December of last year. In the previous competition, the team was eliminated in the group stages following significant losses to Pakistan (by 10 wickets) and New Zealand (by 8 wickets) in its first two matches.

Group B: West Indies, Scotland, two qualifiers

Group 1: Australia, Afghanistan, England, New Zealand, A1, B2
