T20 World Cup 2021: Why India Has A Better Chance To Beat Pakistan

21 Oct, 2021 13:38 IST|Sakshi Post

Fans across the country are eagerly waiting for the blockbuster T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan, which is scheduled for October 24.

For this heated match, former cricketers are predicting the playing XI. If we see the records and squads for both countries, there are chances that India had a great side to win the game.

1.  It is well known that the BCCI appointed MS Dhoni as a mentor. Dhoni knows very much how to win big tournaments.  He will guide Virat Kohli from the dressing room. They both plan to win the games.

2. Virat Kohli announced that he will step down as a T20 captain after the T20 World Cup. So, Virat is aiming for an ICC title as a skipper, and it appears he will not pass up this opportunity easily.

3. On the other hand, the BCCI is looking for a new T20 captain for team India. There were reports that Rohit Sharma will become the captain. So Rohit Sharma is also planning big to score more runs and, if needed, he seems ready to give suggestions to Virat Kohli.

4. This time, India has gone experience with the team. There is a powerhouse in the batting lineup.   Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, and Surya Kumar Yadav are all in good form. In yesterday's warm-up match against Australia, all-rounder Hardik Pandya excelled in his performance greatly. Coming to the bowling unit, the team had good spin and pace bowlers.

On the other hand, the Pakistan team has a good bowling line-up with Shaheen Afridi. Except for Babar Azam in the batting lineup, there are no other strong players in their team. If Indian bowlers could remove Babar Azam, it might be easy to win the game.

5. It seems Pakistan is really motivated to win the title. By considering overall records against Pakistan, India has the upper hand. Pakistan might be under pressure, but not India.
