Non-Bailable Warrant Issued Against Wrestler Sushil Kumar

Delhi court issued a non-bailable warrant against, two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar on Saturday, in connection with the murder of Sagar Rana, a 23-year-old former junior national wrestling champion.

As per reports Sagar Rana, who had been training at the famous Chhatrasal Stadium, died on May 5, while two of his friends were injured after Sushil Kumar and other wrestlers allegedly assaulted them on the Chhatrasal Stadium grounds in Delhi on May 4.

Since Sagar's death, Sushil Kumar has been on the run. The senior wrestler has been charged with murder, kidnapping, and criminal conspiracy.

Earlier, Delhi Police which had issued a 'Look-out Circular' (LoC) against Sushil Kumar, had returned empty-handed after raiding his house.
