IND vs WI: BCCI Announces T20 Squad, Virat Kohli Rested, KL Rahul In

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the T20I squad for the five-match series against West Indies on Thursday. KL Rahul who was ruled out England series due to injury is added to the team. Kuldeep Yadav was also included in the squad. BCCI mentioned that the inclusion of KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav is subject to fitness.

Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested for the tour, as predicted. Kohli has been rested due to a minor groin strain sustained during the final T20I against England, and Bumrah has been rested as he has a heavy workload. 

Notably, Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Umran Malik didn't get place in the team. The five-match T20I series will start on July 29
