On Hotstar, nearly 8.3 million people watched the thrilling CSK vs MI game. Hotstar viewership before the final over peaked at 7.2M, but during the last over it reached 8.3M which is the highest of IPL 2022 so far. Earlier, the CSK vs RCB match had a viewership of 8.2 million. In IPL history, the highest number of views was over 10 million last year during the MI vs CSK game.

Talking about the match, the Mumbai Indians' openers lost their early wickets and CSK restricted the game well. Tilak Varma (51) was a lone batter for the Mumbai Indians. He stood strong and posted a decent total against the CSK. In the 20 overs, MI posted 153/7.
