KARIMNAGAR: YS Sharmila who announced the formation of a new political party in Telangana is currently on a tour in joint Karimnagar district now. YS Sharmila received a warm welcome from the late YSR loyalists in TRS leader and IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s home turf Sircilla district on Thursday.

She was welcomed by members of the new party foundation committee to be formed. As part of her visit Sharmila who went to Dr. Penchalayya's house, there was pleasantly surprised when he presented her with a silk sari that can be folded and kept in a matchbox. This weave is distinct and made by the local weavers in the Sircilla region.

After breakfast, Sharmila greeted the party fans and met 14 families who were affected by COVID at Almaspur in Yellareddypeta mandal. She will later have lunch in Karimnagar and meet Singareni workers who will submit a petition about their issues to her. This is YS Sharmila's first time in the Rajanna Sircilla district and she was accorded a warm welcome wherever she went so far.

She assured the people that there were good days ahead and welfare of the Telangana people was the sole aim of her party. In a statement issued on Thursday, Sharmila spoke about various issues including the high school fee, unemployment, quality education, and affordable medical treatment for everyone, which would soon be resolved, she assured.
