AMARAVATI: The Advisor (Public Affairs) to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has filed a complaint with Central Investigation Department (CID) over fake websites created in the name of the YSRCP website to enquire into the details of the culprits. The YSRCP leader said that this case comes under the purview of the Constitution and would attract serious punishment.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Sajjala explained that the TDP created fake websites and mentioned wrong figures about the panchayat elections results. They wanted to project as if TDP has a big vote share, he said. The YSRCP General Secretary also alleged that there was libellous content posted in the website portraying the YSRCP in bad light. We are not going to spare any one of them, he warned.
Sajjala came across strongly and alleged that the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu's team had created the fake website in an attempt to deceive and divert the people of the State with false information about the election results of the Panchayat Elections held on February 13.
Expressing angst at the TDP leader, he said that Chandrababu was distorting the judgment of the people with a malicious intent of spreading lies and untruths blatantly.
"Everyone has benefited from the rule of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The verdict given by the people in the panchayat elections is a clear example of their faith in him. The Party registered an 80 per cent victory in the second phase of elections also, where more than 2,649 YSRCP supporters won. The TDP won 538, BJP 5, Jana Sena Party 35, while others who won were 98 members. We have also posted the photos of the winners on the party website. Chandrababu is telling lies even on the results of the second phase elections. '' We challenge him to come forth for a discussion via the media,'' Sajjala stated.
With the results of these elections, the TDP is becoming extinct in the State. Through these tactics, Chandrababu's intention is to delude the TDP leaders so that they do not leave the party. They in the meanwhile are spreading lies and slander deliberately. In fact, the State Election Commissioner who was brought by Chandrababu himself has clearly stated that the elections were held peacefully. Chandrababu should come out and state where democracy has been killed and he is the only leader who is celebrating defeat, the YSRCP leader scoffed.
People want YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to rule as the Chief Minister for another thirty years, Sajjala said. "YSRCP supporters will also win in the next two phases of elections and the upcoming MPTC and ZPTC elections, ” he stated confidently while signing off.
