LONDON/NEW DELHI: UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly arrived in India today, October 28 for his first official trip to the country after speaking to his counterpart S Jaishankar and discussing the strengthening of the UK-India relationship and other bilateral ties. The UK Foreign Secretary coming to India just two days after Conservative leader Rishi Sunak took charge as UK Prime will see the leaders talking about various issues including the way forward to counter online terrorism.

As per reports in the AIR News, James Cleverly will be attending the Special Meeting of the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee in New Delhi. He will first reach Mumbai and pay respects to those who lost their lives in the terror attack at the Taj Palace Hotel in 2008.

On Saturday he will travel to New Delhi to speak at the Special Meeting of the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee and call on countries to work together to fight terrorism.

As part of his India trip, he will also meet Minister of External Affairs Dr. S Jaishankar to discuss the latest on the 2030 Roadmap, the landmark commitment to boost cooperation between the UK and India over the next decade under a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
