9 Jun, 2021 15:00 IST|Sakshi Post

If you see an error in the CoWin vaccine certificate you received, then you will now be able to correct it through the Cowin portal. According to the Union health ministry, a special feature called 'Raise an Issue' has been added to the CoWin platform to make the process more seamless.

If there are any inadvertent errors on their Covid vaccination certificates, users can log in and correct their name, year of birth, and gender. Users must go to www.cowin.gov.in and click on 'Raise an Issue' to do so. "New citizen-friendly feature on CoWin. Now correct the errors in the vaccination certificate yourself," tweeted Vikash Sheel, additional secretary at the Ministry of health and family welfare.

Check Out The Process

Step 1: Go to http://cowin.gov.in

Step 2: Sign in by entering your 10-digit mobile number

Step 3: Enter the 6-digit OTP received on your phone

Step 4: Click on Verify & Proceed

Step 5: Go to Account Details

Step 6: Raise an Issue

Step 7. The portal will ask you "What is the issue?" Under "Correction in certificate", click on the error that you need to get corrected.

After that, the user can make changes to their information. After the details have been verified, they will be able to obtain an error-free certificate. However, the certificate can only be edited once.

The CoWin vaccination certificates are used for travel and to gain access to a variety of other locations.
