Indian Railways Recruitment: How to Apply For Vacant Positions

New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of the North Central Railway has sought applications for applicants to work as Act Apprentices as part of the Indian Railways' recruitment drive for 2021. Over 1,600 openings have been announced by the North Central Railway in different divisions, including Prayagraj, Agra, Jhansi, and Jhansi workshops.

Candidates who are eligible and interested must apply online at RRC's official website.

Indian Railways Recruitment 2021: Vacancy details

Prayagraj division: 703 vacant posts in mechanical and electrical departments.

Agra division: 296 vacant posts.

Jhansi division: 480 vacant posts

Jhansi workshop division: 185 vacant posts

Indian Railways Recruitment 2021: Age criteria

As of September 1, 2021, a candidate must be over the age of 15 and under the age of 24. There is an age-related relaxation.

Indian Railways Recruitment 2021: Educational qualification

A candidate must have received a minimum of 50% in matriculation (Class 10) in the 10+2 system. A Class 8 pass certificate, as well as a National Trade Certificate or an ITI Certificate, is required for trade welders (gas and electric), wiremen, and carpenters.

Indian Railways Recruitment 2021: Application fees

A non-refundable application fee of Rs 200 must be paid by the applicant. There is no fee for candidates who are SC, ST, PWD, or women.
