NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Indian government is finding a solution for the ongoing conflict with China at LAC and was engaged with China to peacefully resolve the border row. He also stressed that India doesn't need help from any other country.

Amit Shah asserted that he does not want to comment on what the US President Donald Trump has said. However, he confirmed that our international borders are safe under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

He further added that "The Narendra Modi government is committed towards the security of India's borders and will not let our security breached."
Home Minister made these remarks after Trump offering to mediate or arbitrate the raging Ladakh border dispute.

The US President took to his Twitter and tweeted as, "We have informed both China and India that the United States is ready, willing and able to mediate or arbitrate their now raging border dispute."

China also rejected US President Donald Trump's offer to mediate between India and China to ease the border tensions saying that the two countries don't need the intervention of any third party.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said that "Between China and India we have existing border-related mechanisms and communication channels. We are capable of properly resolving the issues between us through dialogue and consultation. We don't need the intervention of the third party."
