New Delhi: Many people applied for Aadhaar cards when the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) first began producing them for Indian citizens. As a consequence, photographs on Aadhaar cards taken years ago no longer reflect how we appear now. We can update old images on our Aadhaar cards thanks to the UIDAI by following a few easy procedures.

However, before we go over the processes, it's vital to understand what an Aadhaar Card is. For the uninitiated, an Aadhaar Card is a vital document that may be used as evidence of identification to access a variety of government and private services.

Cardholders must also link their Aadhaar cards to their PAN cards, making it a necessary document for obtaining financial services. In workplaces, hotels, and other places, the 12-digit identification number can be used as evidence of identity.

Cardholders may simply update their Aadhaar Card's name, phone number, and address by visiting the official UIDAI website. They can update their information by going to an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre or an Aadhaar Sewa Kendra.

In addition to accessing the official UIDAI website, cardholders must visit their local Aadhaar Enrolment Centre/Aadhaar Sewa Kendra to change their image. The processes for changing one's photograph on an Aadhaar card are as follows:
