Politicians, Celebrities Wish All 'Eid Mubarak'

NEW DELHI: As India is celebrating the end of the holy month Ramadan today, May 25 many politicians and celebrities extended warm greetings and wished 'Eid Mubarak' to all muslims across the nation.

Today the whole nation is celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr which means means 'festival of breaking the fast' therefore declaring an end to the fasting month of Ramadan.. The spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express thanks to  Allah for giving Muslims the courage to observe fast for the entire month of Ramadan.

On this special occasion, Indian politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovid, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao were among them. Everyone urged the citizens to celebrate the festival staying indoors, hoping that the spirit of the day binds all citizens together with compassion and harmony.

Celebrities who penned down the Eid wishes include Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Sai Dharam Tej, Nidhhi Agerwal, Sudheer Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Sai Dharam Tej, Mehreen Pirzada and Hansika Motwani and many more posted their Eid wishes on Twitter.
