Most of our Telugu filmmakers are in a dilemma whether to release their films or not, owing to low footfall in theatres because of the pandemic. Our beloved actor Nithiin has come back to entertain fans and viewers. The last time around, Nithiin's CHECK released in theatres. Now, the actor's Maestro has started streaming on Disney plus Hotstar. Maestro is an official remake of the Hindi blockbuster Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte. Does the Telugu remake live up to the expectations? If you are eagerly searching the review of the Telugu film. You have landed on the right page. Here we go:

Plot: Arun (Nithiin), Simran (Tamannaah) are the key characters in the film. Arun is a blind man who plays piano at a Restaurant. He meets Nabha Natesh there with whom he shares a special relationship. A seasoned actor Naresh is mighty impressed by Arun's piano skills and invites him home to play piano for his wife Simran (Tammanah) on their wedding anniversary. Naresh gets killed by someone on the same day while Arun gets trapped in a deadly murder. Who is behind Naresh's murder? Will Arun be able to escape from the case forms the  crux of the story.

Performance: Nithiin has chosen different genre and breaks away from the romantic image he has built over the years. He excels in the role of a blind man and doesfull justice to the role. Nithiin has acted in several films, but he has given his best performance in Maestro. As usual, Tamannah delivers a stellar performance in a negative character. She is looking stunning in the movie, be it her expressions or exuding confidence in the character. Tamaanah's original voice has become a plus point for the film. The scenes between Tamannaah and Nithiin have come out well and their on-screen chemistry is fresh for the audience. Nabha Natesh, Jisshu Sen Gupta and Racha Ravi do their bit to justify the supporting characters in the film.

Verdict: All Nithiin fans will feel that he takes his acting level a notch up with this role. Maestro is a faithful remake of the Hindi blockbuster and it would be a great thriller for who haven't watched the original version. It's a good commercial entertainer. You can add Nithiin's Maestro to your must watch list this weekend.
