Woman Given 6 Doses Of Pfizer COVID Vaccine In Single Shot
In a very shocking incident, a woman was administered six doses of the Pfizer BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. The incident took place in Tuscany of Italy.
A 23-year-old woman was admitted to a hospital after she was given six doses of Covid-19 vaccine at one go.
Noa hospital spokesperson said the the woman was given Covid-19 vaccine at the hospital on Sunday.
The health worker accidentally filled a syringe with an entire bottle of the vaccine and the bottle had six doses. All the six doses have been administered to the woman.
The 23-year-old lady was immediately admitted to the hospital and was kept in the hospital for 24 hours. She was monitored by the doctors and was discharged on Monday.
The spokesperson said that the doctors will continue to monitor the woman and will get the report on how her body is reacting to the massive dose of vaccine. He further added that it was a human error but not done on a purpose.
