South India’s Tallest Skyscraper in Hyderabad

19 Aug, 2021 13:21 IST|Sakshi Post

Hyderabad is going to witness the tallest residential building in South India. Yes, what you heard is right. The SAS Crown is going to build a residential building with five towers and has 235 residencies spread across 4.5 acres near Kokapet. These buildings go 57 levels into the sky and will stand at 228 metres in the Golden Mile Layout.

After the construction of these buildings, the SAS Crown will overtake the 50-stories building in Bengaluru to become south India’s tallest skyscraper. Being constructed by the Hyderabad-based SAS Infra, the structure was granted a building permit by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) and was approved by the Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority recently.

SAS Infra official Ashish Bhattacharya said that the construction is underway and the project will be completed by March 2025. Presently, the price is Rs 8,950 per sqft in SAS Crown with the starting price of each residence ranging at Rs 6 crore. The project officials are expecting that the rates would increase in future.

“This is the first ultra-luxury apartment in Hyderabad where one floor is dedicated for a single apartment,” SAS Infra said.

“Only after a detailed study of traffic assessments, the building permission was granted. In the Greenfield satellite townships in Kokapet, we want to ensure there is no traffic congestion. Submitting traffic assessment reports from empanelled agencies is mandatory for the project approval,” an HMDA official said.
