Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao got his first dose of Covid jab on Tuesday. He informed this by sharing a picture of him taking the shot, on Twitter.
“Got my first jab today. Thank you Dr Sree Krishna, Nurse Kerina Jyothi and all the healthcare workers, who have been terrific Frontline warriors,” Minister KT Rama Rao tweeted.

While netizens questioned him why was he so late to take the vaccine, the minister replied that he took his vaccine after 3 months of recovery from testing positive for the virus in April.
“For those of you asking as to why I got vaccinated late, I was infected in mid-April, had to complete the 3 month period as per MOHWF guidelines,” the minister added to his tweet.
