In good news to Hyderabadis, the city has recorded lowest Covid positivity rate after the end of lockdown. The number of people who tested positive for Coronavirus in Hyderabad turned out less than 1 per cent. However, the positivity rate in Rangareddy, Warangal Urban, Khammam and Nalgonda are among the highest with 2 per cent.
According to the official figures given by the state health ministry, the overall positivity rate in the state has decreased from 2.67% on June 1 to 1.46% on June 21
It is learned that the districts situated around Hyderabad are still recording a high positivity rate. So, it is advisable that the people who are travelling to those areas be more cautious as the spread of Covid-19 is more in such places.
Besides this, the positivity rate of Covid-19 in various districts has been decreased. Narayanpet district had the lowest positivity rate of 0.47%, followed by Nagarkurnool with 0.66%, Nizamabad with 0.69% and Kamareddy with 0.71%.
