South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan greeted a sea of fans gathered outside her vanity van in Erode, Tamil Nadu. The actress is currently shooting for her upcoming Malayalam film 'Identity' in the city.

Trisha is basking in the success of her iconic Tamil film 'Ghilli' which was recently re-released. The 2004 action movie co-starring Vijay and Prakash Raj, received an overwhelming response from fans upon its re-release and has reportedly earned Rs 8 crore.

The actress took to Instagram Stories to share videos of her meeting and greeting fans in Erode. She seemed overwhelmed by the love pouring in amidst the 'Ghilli' re-release celebrations.

'Identity' is helmed by directors Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. The film features Tovino Thomas as the male lead alongside Trisha. It also stars Mandira Bedi and Vinay Rai in pivotal roles. Shooting commenced in December 2023.

Apart from 'Identity', Trisha has several projects lined up. She will be seen in Ajith's 'Vidaa Muyarchi', Mohanlal's 'Ram', Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life', and Chiranjeevi's 'Vishwambhara'.
