Actor Vijay Deverakonda, who never minces his words, seems to be upset with obscene comments made by a random person on YouTube. Going into details, an individual recently took to YouTube and allegedly spread false and inappropriate information about Vijay Devarakonda. As per reports, the accused made comments against Vijay and made disrespectful content about his heroines. This has upset Vijay and his team. VD and his team took the matter seriously and lodged a police complaint along with the necessary documents.

Acting on the complaint, police have taken the responsible person into custody. One person named Kiran from Anantapur was identified for allegedly spreading false information and defaming Vijay Devarakonda, on the YouTube channel Cine Police, said a statement from Vijay Deverakonda's team.

Under case number 2590/2023, an FIR was filed, and the individual in question was taken into custody within a few hours. Following counselling, the police ensured the deletion of the videos and the channel. Additionally, preventive measures have been implemented to avoid such incidents in the future. The police have also issued a strict warning, stating that strict action will be taken against anyone producing targeted comments, videos, or insulting news in the media.

On the work front, Vijay Devarakonda is currently occupied with his forthcoming projects including 'Family Star' directed by Parasuram and an untitled film (VD 12) with Jersey director Gowtam Tinnanuri.
