Popular Kannada TV reality show Bigg Boss is all set to begin its eighth season. And we hear that the show organisers have set January as the time to start the show. There will be 16 celebrities who will be contesting to win the Kannada Bigg Boss 8 title. And as expected Sandalwood star Kichcha Sudeep who has been successfully hosting the show over the last couple of seasons will continue anchoring the show this time around too.

There was a lot of speculation surrounding the start of the much awaited Bigg Boss Kannada show. Parameshwar Guntakal, the Business Head of Kannada TV Channel Colors Kannada which airs the show, has issued a clarification and made an official statement on this.

He said, "The preparations have only just begun. Some 16 celebrities will participate in Kannada Bigg Boss 8. The show will go on for 100 days as usual and will have some tasks cut out for the contestants. We will soon release more details on the show."

A grand set is being erected at the Innovative Film City on the outskirts of Bangalore in Bidadi. The show organisers have got a nod for other technical stuff. The Bigg Boss Kannada team is hoping to finish all the work by the end of December.

It is being said that Bigg Boss 8 Kannada will begin in the third week of January after the Sankranthi festival. The business head also added that all necessary precautions will be taken by the Kannada Bigg Boss team in view of the COVID19 fear. It is a known fact that new seasons of Bigg Boss are already underway in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

As per the official list of contestants for Kannada Bigg Boss Season 8, it is learnt that the show organisers will reveal the same in the first week of January. Stay tuned for updates.
