HYDERABAD: Tollywood filmmaker SS Rajamouli has clocked five million followers on Twitter. The 'Baahubali' director stays active on the microblogging site. He has entered the world of Twitter in 2010.

After the blockbuster, 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion', the 'Eega' director is working hard for yet another epic film RRR. The movie is made on a huge budget of nearly Rs. 400 crore. Jr NTR and Ram Charan will be seen as the male leads in the movie.

The film RRR features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan and Samuthirakani in the key roles. The movie is set in the back drop of pre-independence era of the 1920s and is based on the fictitious tale of two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

The makers of RRR has fixed January 8th, 2021 as the release date but due to the unexpected coronavirus lockdown, the release date of the film is going to be postponed. After RRR, the maverick director has confirmed that he is going direct a movie with Mahesh Babu.

SS Rajamouli is well known for creating master pieces. He never compromises with his art and goes that extra mile to achieve perfection in what he is creating. He won two National film awards, four filmfare awards south, five state Nandi awards and many more to add. He is known for his works like Eega, Baahubali 1 and 2, Maryada Ramnna, Vikramarkudu, Chatrapati, etc.

In a span of 19 years, the 'Maryada Ramanna' director has created a niche for himself in the world of cinema. He has that talent to arrest the people with his screenplay and incredible imagination. Undoubtedly, he is one of the most talented filmmakers in Tollywood.
