Parineeti Busts Pregnancy Rumours
Parineeti Chopra recently found herself at the center of pregnancy rumours. The rumours started after she wore a loose-fitting outfit during the trailer launch of her new film 'Chamkila'. However, the actress has now put all rumours to rest by sporting fitted clothes during the film's promotions.
On Monday, Parineeti took to Instagram to share a video flaunting her slim figure in a fitted white bodysuit, trousers and blazer. She poked fun at the recent pregnancy speculation writing, "Wearing well fitted clothes today, because when I wear a kaftan dress..." followed by headlines speculating about her being pregnant.
The actress captioned the reel, "Entering my fitted clothes era," making it clear that she is not expecting a baby. Earlier the rumours began after Parineeti wore a black kaftan dress to the Chamkila trailer launch event. Her choice of loose-fitting attire led to widespread speculation on social media that she might be pregnant.
Parineeti then addressed the rumours at the time by sharing an Instagram story that read, "Kaftan dress=pregnancy, oversized shirt=pregnancy, Comfy Indian Kurta=pregnancy” along with a laughing emoji.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Chamkila is a biographical drama based on the life of Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila played by singer Diljit Dosanjh. Parineeti portrays the role of his wife Amarjot Kaur. The film is set to release on Netflix on April 12.
