Gautam Vasudev Menon's latest film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu movie with actor Simbu released on September 15 and has received mixed reviews. The buzz is that Simbu had done a terrific job as a reluctant gangster in the film. The movie will release in Telugu on September 17th, titled - The Life of Muthu which is presented by the Sravanthi Movies banner.

Gautam Menon has made four straight-up Telugu films so far and his last being Sahasam Swasaga Saagipo in 2016, with Naga Chaitanya and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles.

Gautam Menon while sharing the details about The Life of Muthu shared an interesting detail about his association with Sravanthi Movies and actor Ram Pothineni and also the probability of making a Telugu film with the Warrier actor.

When asked about his association with Sravanthi Banner, the director said that” Even if we don't make films with some people, we still admire them. We feel comfortable when we meet some people and 'Sravanti' Ravikishore is one such person. Ram and I shot for a film for a few days many years ago. But, the project did not work out and we moved on. Then I worked with Nani in Yeto Velli Poyindi Mansu. But I am still in touch with Ram and that’s all because of Ravikishore sir. He is like a bridge between us. Recently Ram and I met again and we discussed the possibility of a new movie together. As of now, I am happy that Ravikishore is releasing my movie 'The Life of Muthu' in Telugu under their banner. We might start working on the new movie after Summer next year maybe, once I am done with my commitments. We are still in the discussions phase for making a Telugu film, “ he said, while tentatively confirming that he would be making his fifth Telugu film with Ram.

Ram Pothineni’s fans will have to wait until 2023 for more news about his association with director Gautam Menon.Ram is currently shooting for director Boyapati Srinu’s new movie.
