Celebrity MasterChef Australia: Rebecca Gibney, Ian Thorpe Battle for Victory in Kitchen

Celebrity MasterChef Australia 2021 is here and many big names are set to appear on the show this time. These celebs will battle it out in the kitchen to decide who the real champion is. It is time for some new dishes to be discovered and amazing cuisines to be explored.

We have many big names coming to MasterChef this time. Channel Ten even released a new trailer for the show. The promo confirms the return of Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong, and Andy Allen as the judges. Everyone is pumped up, they are here to win and their competitive spirit can be seen in the promo video.

In the promo, we can see Rebecca Gibney, 56, tear up as she brings her dish to the judges. She is seen entering the kitchen with fellow actor Matt Le Nevez, 42. Known for her work in ‘Packed to the Rafters’, Rebecca says that this time, “We're about to do something utter, utter madness. I cannot believe I'm going to be cooking on MasterChef.”

Other contestants also enter the kitchen. Gold medal Olympian Ian Thorpe, 38 comes with fashion designer Collette Dinnigan, 55. “Being an athlete, I do have a competitive streak. I love to cook and I want to win,” the swimmer says.

This time MasterChef will also see Gordon Ramsay's daughter Tilly, 19, in the competition. “My name's Tilly and I do live with a pretty harsh food critic. My dad, Gordon Ramsay,” she says.

Chrissie Swan, Dami Im, Dilruk Jayasinha, Matt Le Nevez, Nick Riewoldt, Archie Thompson, Collette Dinnigan are also set to appear on Celebrity MasterChef Australia. The show will soon start airing on Channel Ten.
