There is a rule in South Korea that one male from every family should serve the nation for at least 20 months in any form of public service before they turn 30. And celebrities and stars are not exempted from this rule, unless and until they have a valid reason.

Every year many K Pop idols from Korea serve the nation and return to normal life.

Here is the list of idols who served the nation and are ready to return from the public service in 2022.
