HYDERABAD: Actor Meera Chopra has filed a complaint against Tollywood hero, Jr NTR's fans for abusing and trolling her on social media. The 'Vaana' fame actress had a Q&A session on Tuesday with her fans on Twitter. To a question asked by a netizen about Jr NTR, the actress replied that she is not a fan of Tarak and likes Mahesh Babu. Here is the tweet.

This incident triggered an outrage among Tarak's fans and they started tweeting abusive comments and even threatened to kill her and rape her. She retweeted some of the messages she got and even tagged Tarak in her tweets. In one of her tweets, she said that some of the fans are totally spoiling the name of their idol.

The actress didn't take the trolls on a lighter note, she sought Hyderabad Police's help on social media. She wrote"@NCWIndia @sharmarekha @hydcitypolice @Twitter plz take action against these account holders. They are slut shamming threatening of gang rape, acid attack, murder openly. This cannot go unnoticed." Here is the tweet.

Singer Chinmayi Sripada is one of the celebs who always supports women and raises her voice against social issues. She asked the actor to submit the screenshots and write a letter to the National Commission for Women (NCW) and Twitter to initiate action against the abusive trolls.
