Telangana: Congress has key responsibilities for Revanth Reddy as MLC election target. CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka has been appointed as the Khammam-Nallagonda-Warangal graduate constituency election campaigner and Congress Tribal Committee National YS Chairman Bellayya Nayak as the coordinator.
MLC election heat erupts in Telangana. Candidates are busy campaigning. The TRS, BJP, and Congress are vying for the two seats available. The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has appointed campaigners and facilitators for the MLC elections.
For Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar graduate constituency election campaigner Revanth Reddy has appointed AICC secretary Sampath. CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka has been appointed as the election campaigner for the Khammam-Nallagonda-Warangal graduate constituency and Congress tribal committee national YS chairman Bellayya Nayak as the coordinator.
Surabhi Vanidevi, daughter of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, has entered the fray as the official TRS candidate from the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar seat. Ramachandra Rao from the BJP, former minister Chinnareddy from the Congress, and Professor Nageshwar are contesting as independent candidates for the same post.
The Khammam-Nallagonda-Warangal Graduate MLC is being contested by sitting MLC Palla Rajeswarareddy from TRS, Ramulu Nayak from Congress, Kodandaram from TJS along with Jayasaradhi Reddy, Teenmar Mallanna, Premender Reddy, and Ranirudrama Devi.
Meanwhile, the notification was released on February 16 for the two graduate MLC elections in Telangana. Nominations will be accepted till February 23. Nominations will be considered on February 24. The deadline for withdrawal of nominations is February 26. Polling will be held on March 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The results will be announced on March 17.
