Father Held For Impregnating Minor Daughter In Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: In an ultimate act of sexual perversion, a father sexually abused his own 15-year-old daughter for well over six months and even impregnated her, said the Four Town Police of Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. The shocking incident, smacking of the lowest of lows in human civility, came to light after the girl was diagnosed to be into her third-month pregnancy.

According to the details given by the police, the accused, whose wife died in 2016, has been living in the New Railway Colony area in Visakhapatnam. An electrician by profession, he has been taking care of his parents and daughter following his wife's death.

Recently, the girl complained of severe stomach pain following which she was rushed to King George Hospital here. The doctors who conducted medical tests on her were shocked to know that the minor girl was pregnant and into her third month. Stunned by this, the girl's relatives informed the police.

The police, who registered a case and questioned the girl over the incident, were shocked to learn that the blacksheep responsible for her pregnancy was none other than her father. Based on the girl's statement, they took him into custody before registering cases against him under POSCO act (protection of children from the offences of sexual assault). The case was later transferred to the Disha police station. The incident sparked widespread outrage in the city with many women's groups demanding stringent punishment for the alleged sexual monster who had no remorse in imgpregnating his own daughter.
