Suresh Raina Birthday: Wishes Pour In From Indian Cricketers On Twitter

Former Indian batsman Suresh Raina is one of the most dignified players in cricket.  His ability to keep calm under pressure helped him deliver on many occasions. He has battled several challenges to rescue the team in times of crisis. He batted in the top-order and scored runs in the end overs. He has emerged as one of India’s finest finishers ever. Suresh Raina's contribution to Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) too is immense and he is named Chinna Thala as he followed by Tamil fans the footsteps of Thala Dhoni. 

After he announced his retirement on 21st August 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a letter via Twitter. Suresh Raina intends to set up a cricket academy soon in Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Suresh Raina to set up the academy.

Suresh Raina turns 34 today (November 27).  The Indian cricketer announced that under his Gracia Raina foundation he will do social welfare activities on his birthday. He is planning to provide water and sanitation facilities for around 34 government schools in Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi.
