Hyderabad: New JEE (main) sessions have been announced by the Ministry of Education. Exams will be held twice this year, in April and May. Session 1 (April) will be displayed during the first session of registration, and Session 2 (May) will be visible when the window is reopened.

According to officials, candidates' mobile phone numbers and e-mail addresses will not be verified until they register. They must enter the OTP received at their registered mobile number before submitting fees.

There are two papers in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). Paper 1 is for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes (B.E., B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs), as well as institutions and universities funded by participating state governments.

JEE (Main) is also a prerequisite for JEE (Advanced), which is held for IIT admissions. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning programmes across the country.

NTA was established as a premier, specialist, autonomous, and self-sustaining testing organisation to conduct the JEE (Main)-2022 entrance examination for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions, and Universities funded and recognised by participating States.
