Hurun Global Rich List 2021 is here and this time there are many entries from Hyderabad. This list gives an insight on the top billionaires of the world. We have a total of 10 Billionaires from Hyderabad who made it to the list.
As of 15th January, 2021, the total wealth of the 10 Hyderabadi Billionaires is 1,65,900 crore ($22.6 billion). Among these was Murali Divi (Divi’s Laboratories) that grabbed the top spot. Divi has a net worth of Rs 54,100 crore. They are the top Billionaires of Hyderabad and 20th in India.
Following the Divi Family is PV Ramprasad Reddy and family of (Aurobindo Pharma). They have a net worth of Rs 22,600 crore. Their rank is 56 in India. In the global list, they were at 1,096th position.

Billionaires of India
From India there are a total of 55 billionaires that made it to the Global list. Mukesh Ambani (Reliance industries), Gautam Adani (Adani Group) were in the list. Shiv Nadar (HCL), Lakshmi N Mittal (Arcelor Mittal) and Cyrus Poonawalla (Serum Institute) were in the list as well.
Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani added a lot to their wealth. Mukesh Ambani is the second richest man in Asia.
The Hurun Global Rich List 2021 took the statistics from over 68 countries. It ranked 3,228 billionaires from 2,402 companies. Many of these had wealth increase in the past year. Topping the list, we have Elon Musk of Tesla followed by Jeff Bezos of Amazon.
