See Pics: Sushant Singh Rajput Immortalised With Wax Statue!

A West-Bengal based sculptor has immortalised Sushant Singh Rajput by making a wax statue in memory of the late actor.

Asansol-based Sukanto Roy created the wax statue at his museum as a tribute to the actor who died on June 14. The actor can be seen dressed in a white tee and black track pants, and a denim jacket. The statue also bears his effervescent smile.

Roy told news agency ANI, “I liked him (Rajput) a lot. It is unfortunate that he passed away. In his memory, I have made this statue for my museum.” He added, “However, if Sushant’s family requests for his statue, I will make a new one.”

People started coming to his musuem to have a look at Sushant Singh's statue. The sculptor has also created wax statues of Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, among others.

Recently, thousands of his fans signed an online petition to get a wax statue of Sushant at Madame Tussauds in London.

Sushant's family had earlier released a statement saying that his childhood home in Rajiv Nagar, Patna will be turned into a memorial which will have his personal memorabilia and belongings including thousands of his books, his telescope, flight-simulator etc, for his fans and admirers.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14. He will be remembered for films like "Kai Po Che!", "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story", "Chhichhore", among others. In connection to his death case, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and many others have been arrested over drug charges.
