Guntur: YSRCP’s Saamajika Saadhikaara (social empowerment) yatra got off from Bapayyapet in Kolakaluru of Tenali rural on Thursday. Similar bus yatras commenced from two other regions Ichchapuram and Shinganama too. Through the bus yatra, the party leaders will explain to the people about the YS Jagan government’s slew of welfare programmes and revolutionary decisions that brought equitable development in the state.The ruling party’s social empowerment yatra will cover 175 assembly constituencies before concluding at Anakapalli on November 9.

Rajya Sabha members Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Ministers Adimulapu Suresh, Jogi Ramesh, MLAs A Shivakumar, Abdul Hafeez Khan, MLCs Marri Rajasekhar, Potula Sunitha and others formally flagged off the bus yatra from Tenali.

Addressing the party workers following the flagging-off ceremony, minister Jogi Ramesh said chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has implemented social justice like no other state in the country. He said the party leaders will reach out to the people in every corner of the state to highlight the welfare schemes and development initiatives brought out by the YSRCP government. He said Nara Bhuvaneswari (wife of jailed TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu) has embarked on a ‘Nijam Gelavali’ yatra. However, she should tell people how her husband deceived her father later NTR (TDP founder) and that’s when the truth will triumph.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Adimulapu Suresh said the chief minister YS Jagan has done justice to the SC, ST, BC and minorities in every sector. He said YS Jagan believes in the unity of people and that is his strength. He said Jagan ruled the state for four-and-a-half years without transparency and accountability. The YSRCP minister came down heavily on Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for making adverse comments on the education system in the state. He dared the Jana Sena leader to have a conversation with the Government schools students in English language.
