Vijayasai Reddy's Counter to Magunta!

Guntur: YSRCP Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai Reddy has strongly reacted to the comments made by  Ongole MP Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy who left the party ahead of assembly elections in the state. 

Reacting to the resignation of Magunta from the ruling party, Vijayasai Reddy said it is common for the political leaders to switch loyalties ahead of elections and this should be seen in the context. He said there will always be a reason for a political leader to change the party.  He also said that every party will have a few turncoats. 

YSRCP leader found fault with Magunta for attributing the lack of self-respect for leaving the party. Recently, MP Kesineni Nani crossed over from TDP to the ruling YSRCP party so does that mean there’s no self-respect in the opposition party, he asked. 

Vijayasai further said that the comments made by Magunta are not appropriate. Magunta may have a reason for quitting the party but he should know that the ruling party gives respect to all party members regardless of their position in the party, he added.
