Amaravati/Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, two students hailing from different regions, Wanaparthy in Telangana and Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh, were found dead in their apartment in Connecticut, USA. The victims were identified as 22-year-old G Dinesh from Wanaparthy and 21-year-old Nikesh from Srikakulam.

Dinesh's family were shocked after hearing about the circumstances surrounding his and his roommate's death in mysterious conditions . Family members were notified by Dinesh's friends from a nearby room on Saturday night.Dinesh went to the US to pursue higher studies in Hartford, Connecticut, on December 28, 2023. He was joined by Nikesh a few days later. The two students were roommates in the Connecticut accommodation. .

Seeking support, Dinesh's family reached out to Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to facilitate the repatriation of Dinesh's body. MLA Megha Reddy from Wanaparthy also extended assistance in bringing back Dinesh's remains, offering condolences to the grieving family.

Despite efforts, no contact could be made with Nikesh's family, and the Srikakulam district administration lacks information about Nikesh. The Srikakulam Police Special Branch DSP K Balaraju mentioned the absence of details at the district collector office regarding Nikesh and his family.
