TDP-Jana Sena Lost Steam After Siddham Meetings: YV Subba Reddy

Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party regional coordinator YV Subba Reddy on Thursday held a key meeting with the North Andhra party leaders to chalk out a road map for the scheduled election campaign ahead of assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the state.

Reddy exhorted the party leaders and cadre to launch Gadapa Gadapaku (door-to-door) campaign and explain the development programmes of the state government to the people during the last five years of YS Jagan government. He said the TDP-led alliance is in a state of shock following the Siddham meetings of the ruling party which received an overwhelming response from the party cadre and the people of the state.

“TDP-Jana Sena combine has lost steam after witnessing the tsunami of people attending the YSRCP-led Siddham public meetings in various parts of Andhra Pradesh. The opposition parties are not waiting for the PM Narendra Modi to organise an election rally,” YV Subba Reddy told reporters.

He cautioned people against believing the mesmerising words of the opposition parties who would make empty promises during the election campaign to lure the voters. The YSRCP regional coordinator added that during the election campaign all party leaders and cadres would explain to the people how the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s pro-welfare agenda elevated the status of Andhra Pradesh and how the TDP destroyed the state with corruption in its heydays.
