Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has caused dissatisfaction amongst the TDP cadre as he announced the party's candidates for the upcoming elections. The TDP has recently unveiled its third list of candidates, revealing 11 Assembly and 13 Parliamentary candidates.
Chandrababu Naidu's decisions on candidate selection have faced severe backlash. The TDP leadership has been criticized for favoring certain aspirants while neglecting others. Naidu's actions have backstabbed its party members. Naidu has favoured individuals from his Kamma caste, leaving out candidates from poorer and marginalized communities. It seems like personal gain rather than party interests, is influencing Naidu's choices in candidate selection.
Babu has deliberately allocated party tickets to Kamma leaders to contest against leaders from marginalized communities.
