Speed Up MGNREGS Works: AP CM

Andhra Pradesh: The Chief Minister said works related to secretariats, RBKs, village clinics, BMCUs and digital libraries should be done at a brisk pace and added that the state government has been clearing pending arrears of the previous government and spent more money than sanctioned by the Central Government. He stated that the state government is working to ensure adequate funding and directed the collectors to focus on these projects.

Digital Libraries

The Chief Minister said Internet access will be available in all 4,530 villages with unlimited broadband width by December 31. He stated that work-from-home options will be available in the villages soon and directed officials to take the necessary steps to complete the construction of digital libraries by that time.
