Sajjala Flays Chiranjeevi for Extending Support to 'Opportunistic' TDP-led Alliance

Krishna district: YSRCP general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy downplayed the Mega star Chiranjeevi's support to the TDP-Janasena-BJP alliance. He said regardless of how many people come together to push the opposition alliance in the elections, eventually the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will win the May 13 elections.

"It is not surprising that Chiranjeevi is supporting the alliance candidates. No matter how many more people support the alliance, we don't anticipate any loss,” Sajjala said.

Addressing a press conference in Penamaluru on Sunday, Sajjala informed that the ruling party leadership is reviewing the elections constituency-wise. He said that the welfare and development of the YSRCP government have reached 80 percent of the people.
He asserted that the TDP has formed an alliance with Jana Sena Party and BJP for the sake of snatching power. The opposition bloc has no agenda for the development of the state and its people. The upcoming election is a fight between the pro-people YSRCP and power hungry opposition parties.

Sajjal exuded confidence that the party’s candidate and housing minister Jogi Ramesh will win the Penamaluru seat with a huge margin. He added that the ruling party will win all the seats in the Machilipatnam parliamentary segments. He also informed that the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will file his nomination on April 25 and the party’s manifesto will be released in two days.
