Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has dared the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu for an open debate on the development and governance during the tenure of chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said YSRCP cadre will not shy away from explaining the developmental activities of the government to the people.

Addressing the media persons in Vijayawada on Sunday, Nani stated that for the sake of a meagre 24 seats, Pawan Kalyan had hurt the self-respect of janasainiks by forging an alliance with Naidu’s political party.

“Naidu is enough to defeat all the 24 candidates fielded by Pawan Kalyan in the forthcoming assembly elections,” Nani told reporters.

He added that Vijayawada (West) is a stronghold of ruling YSRCP and the party has fielded Shaik Asif from this assembly constituency. He said the opposition should not be under the illusion that the ruling party will replace the declared candidate.

Criticising Naidu for not appreciating the development works of current, Nani asserted that the YSRCP will win Vijayawada (West), Mylavaram and Tiruvuru assembly seats with a margin of 30,000 votes each,
