IAS officer-turned-politician Jayaprakash Narayan is often positioned as an intellectual. However, his contrary statements have often caused stir among the public and his followers.

JP, the founder of the Lok Satta party, opted for a big volte-face. After heaping praises on CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's administration and the reforms he has brought in the education and health sectors, JP right ahead of the 2024 polls vouched for the TDP-BJP-Janasena combine.
