NTR District: Targeting TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, who is in New Delhi to forge an alliance with the BJP, over his opportunistic alliance with the BJP-led NDA bloc, MP Kesineni Srinivas, who crossed over from TDP to the ruling YSRCP, said the opposition leader is ready to cross any barrier for personal gains. However, the voters of Andhra Pradesh are not in a mood to trust him again in the upcoming elections.

Naidu had quit NDA and once again trying his luck to get back into the national parties fold. He’s meeting the top BJP leaders to discuss the seat-sharing for the Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. This is Naidu’s second meeting with the BJP leaders in recent months as the last meeting remained inconclusive.

MP Kesineni Nani said that Chandrababu is ready to cross any number of obstacles for personal gains. However, the people of the state are not in a position to trust Babu. Taking a dig at Naidu’s visit to the national capital, Kesineni demanded the TDP leader to explain why he walked out of the NDA alliance and why he is desperate to join the bloc again?

Recalling the TDP’s strategy in the Parliament, the former TDP leader said he had moved the no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 18, 2018 on the instructions of Chandrababu Naidu. He stated that initially Naidu demanded the Centre to release a stimulus package and later changed his stance and pushed for the Special Category Status for the Telugu state.

Kesineni further said the opposition leader joined hands with Congress to ensure the defeat of TDP in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He had always nurtured the dream of becoming prime minister of India while he intended to install his son Nara Lokesh as the chief minister of the state. He also added that Naidu took the ‘deeksha’ route to make personal attacks on PM Modi.
