TIRUMALA: Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani on Friday visited and offered prayers to Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala Tirupati Devastahanam temple in Andhra Pradesh. He was accompanied by his youngest son Anant Ambani's fiancée Radhika Merchant on the visit.

Ambani along with his family participated in Abhishekam and Nijapada Darshan Seva on Friday morning. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer Dharma Reddy welcomed Ambani and made darshan arrangements.

After darshan, Vedic blessings were offered by scholars at Ranganayak mandapam. On this occasion, Mukesh Ambani said that he is happy to visit Tirumala. He said that the temple in Tirumala is developing and improving every year. He said that he prayed to Venkateswara Swami to bless everyone. Chandragiri YSRCP MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijaysai Reddy accompanied the Reliance head.

Reports say that he had donated RS 1.5 Crore to the TTD Temple Trust.

Karur Vysya Bank donated around Rs.30 lakhs worth five 8-seater Battery Operated Vehicles to TTD in Tirumala on Thursday as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. KVB Managing Director i B Ramesh Babu has handed over the keys of the battery vehicles to TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy in front of Tirumala temple on Thursday.
