Mamata Banerjee Criticism has Revealed Kishor's true intentions on AP Elections 2024

Amaravati:  West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made critical remarks against the poll strategist Prashant Kishor. In an interview with a media channel, Banerjee claimed that Kishor is only working for the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and not doing any work on the ground in her state. She alleged that Kishor is working behind the scenes to help Naidu win the assembly elections.

Banerjee asserted that she had clear information about this. She said that,"Prashant Kishor is not working for the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Bengal." She added that Kishor's main focus is to ensure the victory of the tripartite alliance in Andhra elections. West Bengal chief minister’s criticism has revealed Kishor's true intentions ahead of the ongoing elections.

In a recent interview with the news agency, the political strategist Prashant Kishor predicted that, "the BJP is going to be the number one party in West Bengal."

Kishor, who founded the Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC), has helped several parties come to power in regional elections. He helped the Janata Dal (United) in returning to power in Bihar. After falling out with the JD(U) leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Kishor launched his organisation 'Jan Suraaj' the upcoming assembly polls. Earlier this year, he announced that his political platform would field 75 candidates from the extremely backward castes (EBCs) in the 2025 Bihar assembly elections.

Meanwhile, Kishor's predictions have failed in several recent assembly elections in states like Telangana, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Mizoram. He had claimed that the BRS led by K Chandrashekar Rao would retain power in Telangana, but the Congress party came to power instead. Similarly, his predictions that the Congress would win the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh proved inaccurate, as the BJP won in all three states.

Prashant Kishor had created quite a buzz with his rapid rise and fall story. He was initially applauded for his near-accurate predictions, but his strategies have not been working in recent elections. Kishor's dream of becoming a politician has been shattered, and there are allegations that he has become a political broker in Delhi to make a lot of money.

As the Andhra Pradesh elections approach, there is a rumour in the TDP that Kishor has agreed to help the party in return for a package from Chandrababu Naidu. A few months ago, Nara Lokesh brought Kishor to Vijayawada in a special flight and the poll strategist held a one-on-one meeting with the TDP leader at his residence. Despite dozens of pre-poll surveys favouring the ruling YSRCP, Kishor has started claiming that the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance will win the Andhra Pradesh elections. However, his words don’t make any impact now as he has lost credibility and political parties have started ignoring his predictions.
