Jagananna Swachh Sankalpam: AP CM YS Jagan Launches CLAP

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the 'Clean Andhra Pradesh (Clap) -Jagananna Swachha Sankalpam' program today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. The main aim behind launching this program is to make the surroundings clean with public participation. YS Jagan flagged off 4,097 garbage collecting vehicles at Benz Circle, Vijayawada on Saturday.

The objective of CLAP is to achieve complete source segregation of garbage, onsite waste treatment, door-to-door collection of garbage, encouraging home composting.

As part of the clap program, the AP government wants to achieve the best rank in the Swachh Survekshan program and wants the state to become a bin-free, litter-free, and garbage-free state. The Jagananna Swachh Sankalpam program will continue for 100 days.
