Ensure Adequate Staff in Hospitals, AP CM tells Health Officials

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy instructed the officials to expedite the works of new medical colleges in the state so that modern medical facilities will be made available. He instructed the officials to complete the works as per a plan so that medical seats will be increased and better treatment will be available. 

He asked them to revamp the existing eleven medical colleges under the Nadu Nedu program. He directed the officials to expedite the process of setting up medical hubs and added that the main objective of these hubs is to ensure advanced medical facilities in the private sector. 
The Chief Minister has given a green signal for general transfers in the health department. He asked them to ensure adequate staff in every hospital and complete the recruitment process by February.

The officials informed that 98.96 percent of the first dose and 71.76 percent of the second dose of vaccination is completed across the state and added that the first dose of vaccination is completed hundred percent in Nellore, Vizianagaram, Prakasam, Anantapur, West Godavari, Kurnool, and Chittor districts.
