CM YS Jagan's Nadu Nedu Changed Face Of AP Govt Schools

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is working hard for the welfare of people in the state. He started numerous schemes to secure the future of students in the state. CM YS Jagan's Nadu Nedu has changed the face of government schools. There are more than 45,000 government schools in Andhra Pradesh, out of which 15,715 schools have been revived in the first phase. AP government has made excellent arrangements in these government schools as environment plays a key role in keeping the focus of students on education. The school atmosphere plays a prominent role in shaping the mindset of students.

Earlier, there were blackboards in the schools but now they have been replaced with green chalkboards. Besides the green chalkboard, photos of national leaders, freedom fighters, scientists, and other eminent personalities have been painted. Tubelights and fans have been installed in all the classrooms. Electricity too has been provided in every school. The government has also provided sufficient benches and shelves for both teachers and students.  

The Andhra Pradesh government has spent a total of Rs. 25,222 lakhs for setting up of fans, lights, and electricity in the government schools whereas Rs.69,854 lakh have been used for the furniture and for setting 14,991 green chalkboards, Rs. 10,659 lakh have been used.

Andhra Pradesh will reopen schools from August 16 and the government is planning to reopen the schools according to the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) by introducing six types of schools—from Pre-Primary (PP)-1 to class 12. AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed officials to complete the process of revamping schools, according to the NEP system by August 16.

Satellite Foundation Schools will provide two levels of pre-primary education, according to the new system. Foundation Schools will provide education up to Class 2; Foundation Plus Schools will educate kids up to class 5; Pre-high schools will provide education till class 7; High Schools will provide education from class 3 to class 10, while High School Plus will provide education from class 3 to class 12.
