AP School Holidays List for Festivals, Special Days Academic Year 2021-22

The Andhra Pradesh Education Department has published the 2021-22 Academic Calendar. This academic year, the government has set aside 188 working days. The government has also ordered schools to be shuttered from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., class by class. It had also limited the number of holidays for various festivals.

The government has declared Dasara a six-day holiday from October 11 to 16. Diwali has been declared a holiday on November 4. Christmas is given 8 days off from December 23rd to December 30th (for missionary schools). The Sankranthi festival in January has a six-day holiday from January 10 to 15. Ugadi was given leave on April 2. Classes will be held until April 30, 2022. There will be summer vacations from May 1st.
