AP Municipal Elections Counting Results Live Updates

The counting of votes in Andhra Pradesh municipalities and municipal corporations is underway. The counting started at 8 in the morning. Election results for 13 municipalities and other vacant posts in various divisions and wards will be announced today (Wednesday). 

The elections to 325 divisions and other wards were held on Monday. A total of 1,206 members are in the fray for 325 seats. The counting of votes started in 23 centres. 

The counting of postal ballots is done and the results will be announced by 5 PM today.  

A total of 450 tables have been set up at 23 counting centres and 534 officials have been appointed as Counting Supervisors and 3,792 as Assistant Counting Supervisors. Elections were held for the 46 divisions in Nellore Corporation, 142 tables were set up to count the votes polled in the respective divisions. Elections were held for 24 wards in Kuppam as well.

Rajampet Municipality:

Out of 29 wards, YSRCP won 24, TDP-4, Independent -1

Gurajala:

YSRCP - 16 wards, TDP-3 Janasena - 1

Kuppam:

After the first round, YSRCP won 15 wards out of 13 wards. TDP emerged out victorious in just 2 wards.

Nellore:

YSRCP won 20 divisions in Nellore Corporation and the election was unanimous for 8 divisions.

Vizag:

YSRCP candidate Bipin Kumar Jain won as corporator of 31st ward in GVMC

Krishna:

Jogiramu of YSRCP emerged out victorious in the 19th ward of Kondapally municipality

YSRCP candidate won in 26th ward

YSRCP won 14 out of 25 wards at Kuppam Municipality

YSRCP wins 10 seats of 20 in Jaggaiahpet

Buchireddypalem:

YSRCP - 10 wards

Nellore:

YSRCP contestant Sunna Nagamani won in 39th division.

Nellore Municipal Corporation: YSRCP is leading in a total of 36 divisions of the total 54.


Kuppam:

In the first round out of 14 wards, YSRCP won in 12 wards.

YSRCP won in 24 wards in Rajampeta

Kamalapuram:

The YSRCP wins 15 wards of the total 20 wards at Kamalapuram panchayat in Kadapa district

Gurazala:

The YSRCP won 16 wards in Gurazala
